![]() MP-Vise The Ferrari of fly-tying vises Marc Petitjean has designed a fly-tying vise with propeties, which charm even a old-timer in fly-tying. MP-Vise is made by swiss Marryat. In a packet of three pound there is loaded so many functions, that learning to use the MP-Vise takes some time. Lucky, with the purchase of the Vise You get a video, where Marc shows the basic functions and the finesses.
The vise and all the parts of it are packed in a box, which can be packed in a strong canvas bag. Because the weight of the vise is
only three pounds, it is easy to take the vise with You on fishing-trips.
The box is the base, but there is c-clamp to fasten the vise in a table.
Two arms, the straight and the extension arm allow You to choose the
possition in which You tie. All the parts of the MP-Vise have fast-lock
systems, this means, You can turn the vise to which ever possition. This
is a very handy propety especially when tying
salmon-flies and have to check the symmetry of wings.
