    This Autumn of the Year

                       

Autumn is for a fisherman one of the best times to carry out his passions. September is the month of perches. I fish then with jigs: Grubs, Worms, Shads and specalities like Shrimps and Crawlers will get time to show themselves to perches. If my my supper plate seem to stay empty, I will catch my meal with living baits.

All the autumn time a important project fish is zander. I will testfish zanders now with jigs, soft and hard, vertical and horisontal, and baitfishes.

The species that is one of my favourites on plate is baltic herring. With rigs you can catch in some hours a bucket full of this delicacy. I need some kilos of herrings in mid november to make the spicy fish-special for Christmas.

In october I mainly will fish pikes. This time of the year you do not disturbe the spawning of huges pikes. If the weathers, and specially the winds, allow, I will mainly flyfish pikes.

November is the month to catch fat breams. Cast your vanilla flavoured worm on the bottom to about ten meters depth and wait!

Already in october, but really in november and december seatrouts get possibility to wonder my lures. Mostly I will show them flies, but iron and wood, too. The seatrout season goes on till the ice covers the waters. Then it is ice-fishing time!
